How do I tell if its a nodular iron crank? Does it look different at all? The numbers I ran come up to be a 402 nodular iron crank. But 1 number is very close to just a cast iron crank. its between a 9 and an 8.
Is nodular better?

Thanks mike,

The numbers are as follows if someone could double check me,

3804815NF or 3904815NF

A161

GM10

Anyone know the date on this beast? I know one thing. it is heavy....... I dang near dropped it on my toe.........

Watch those toes!!!! They'll thank you for it ;) As for visually being able to tell if its nodular or cast, from my experiance, you can't. They look the same. As for looking up numbers, I have no idea when it comes to numbers, but I'm sure there'll be someone here that can help you out. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
