is anyone using the "cal custom" valve covers offered by ground up, with roller rockers. any clearance issues. trying to decide to buy or not to buy..

Been running those valve covers (on a 454) for years with Crane gold roller rockers. Using normal cork gaskets. No problem.

there is a picture of the ss396,427 and yenko valve covers on ground up's home page. its towards the bottom.

Same here. Old style is for me too. Have to share this.....

While in a junkyard 15 years ago, I picked up a box in the office. Pulled out something wrapped in newspaper. Turned out to be brand new Cal Custom valve covers with Chevy Bowtie in the center rectangle. Have never seen the Chevy Bowtie again on Cal Customs. $15 bucks bought 'em!! Those were the days.

I was glad to see them re-released by the restoration shops. Nice valve covers.
