If you want slotted rotors for the looks, go for it. If you want improved braking performance, stick with solid rotors. The slots create less surface area to work with, create spots at which cracks can start and will cause your pads to wear much faster.

Also, just so you know, an M22 transmission is called a "rock crusher" not a "raw crusher".

What do you mean by "without any mods"?

If your '66 is completely stock (no mods), then nothing Baer will fit ( because stock wheels designed for drums-only in '66)... And on a '66, the master cylinder and brake lines will have to be modified for any disc brake swap... Disc brakes were never offered on '66 Chevelles, drums only...

Not sure on Baer, but Kore3 has some that will bolt on the stock spindles, but require at least 17" wheels. The only other mods that aren't "bolt-on" would be the master cylinder and brakes lines...

With 15" wheels, you might look to someone like True-Connections for a disc brake kit...

Unless you just have to have that "Baer" logo...
