I need a new one. Most suppliers offer Repro & GM, with the GM part 2 - 3 times more expensive. Anyone have any bad experiences with the Repro? I generally prefer a GM part, but the cost difference on these units is significant.
Thanks.

The GM unit is 'probably' made in China also......................... You can check it with an ohm meter prior to installation and see if it has a smooth and accurate output.

Since posting my question I've checked with several suppliers. Unfortunately none have the GM piece in stock/available.

How many air vents do you need on your sending unit?

Until I pull the tank and the unit I don't think I can answer your question. For what it's worth it's a "California" car originally equipped with A/C and a 350. These models and some others (big blocks, I think) are equipped with 3/8" output hard lines and 1/4 return hard lines. The sending unit has these two hard lines extending forward from it.

The Spectra units are good.
