I had the 15x8 vintage corvette rally's on my 69 Malibu. I put the BFG's all the way around with 275's on the back. I wanted a bigger tire and after taking the car to the track with the 496, there was no chance for traction. My buddy had a set of 325's and said I could get them to fit. Paid $3.50 and had it mounted to the 8" rim. It looked awesome and it fit on the drivers side and rolled just fine. The passenger side just barely scraped the outside fender. I made 1" inch cuts along the fender and gently tapped it in with a hammer. Paint still looks good and the tires fit nice. I went ahead and did the drivers side. I had to hammer a little on the inside, but nothing bad. Everything rolls nice and looks as though I won't have any problems unless it "sits" more than about 6 inches. It looks absolutely awesome and should be able to finally get some traction. Just thought some would like to know. :hurray:

I did put new full quarters on it about two years ago. I believe they were from Year One. It has a stock 10 bolt.

It is raining today. I will try and pull the car out of the garage to take pics. No engine so kind of a hassle. I will try to post some by this eveining. What is the best way and quickest way to post the pics? I have them on my I phone.

Fit in the garage and fit driving are two different things :) It's those diagonal approaches to driveways and places like that where you will learn if they fit or not. My 275's fit perfect until the suspension got loaded goofy, and then the sidewalls hit. Nothing that half an inch more of backspace wouldn't fix, I had to get new wheels.

I have about as much room as any of the cars I saw at the track with the edges trimmed off and tubb'd. We'll see. When it drops it may be a problem upon launch but looks as though as it will be okay. I'll try to get pic tonight
