This is sort of chevelle related, a friend of mine wants me to replace the quarters on his 78 camaro & any profit I take from the install will be used to buy chevelle parts, hehehe. Anyway, like I said it's a 78 camaro & the previous owner rivited on some new quarters them mudded over them, well it cracked & has turned to a disaster, so he wants me to fix it right as well as weld in the rockers that are rivited on & put in some new outer wheel houses for the quarters. Then repaint the car in primer & repaint it if he can afford it. Now my question is, how much would you guys charge for these items to be repaired
- R&R quarters
- R&R outer wheel houses
- weld in the rockers
he's not a close friend, he just buys all my scrap metal from me & we've sort of become pals through our scrap link. Anyway, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone ever used the quarters that summit sells, they are supposed to be goodmark panels, but I was just curious.
Thanks, Matt

I would start at $3500.00 not including a paint job.

Well,
I told him $4500.00 with a paint job. I didn't know if it was high or low, but he took it, so it looks like I got some work to do this winter. That's not including the 366 I have to rebuild for my dads dump truck, the 05 Chrysler minivan I have to rebuild from a totaled wreck, the explorer fender I have to repaint, the 96 chevy extended cab I have to put cab corners & bed sides on as well as some other misc stuff that pops up. Maybe some day I'll get to work on my chevelle.
