I have a 1970 pump with a Female SAE Flare Fitting.
I am installing a Hydroboost and I want to try to run factory lines from a HB car. The lines have Male Metric O-ring fittings. I already have a later style PS gearbox with these fittings and I think my pump would be fine if I could just replace the PS Pump Dischage Fitting to Metric O-ring style.
VERY limited clearance between the fitting and the head so I don't think I can install an adaptor.
Is there someplace where I can buy just this Metric O-ring Fitting and install it in my existing pump? If so, where?
If I have to replace pumps, what would be a good pump to use?
When did they go from "type I" to "type II" pumps. Will a type II pump fit?
