: Turn Indicators On With Brakes

Hi,

I have a 1967 Chevelle 396/325 with factory electrical system.

The turn signals do not activate.

When I apply the brakes, both left & right turn signal indicators come on and remain solid. Release the brakes and they go off.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Jim G.

If no bulbs are burned out, a bad ground will cause that.
Check that all taillight sockets and parking light sockets are getting a good ground.

Make sure the correct bulbs were installed.

Sounds like the hazard button is pushed to the on position and the hazard flasher is removed. The hazard flasher is the one in the fuse panel.

Checked all grounds and bulbs. No apparent issues.

The hazard knob was pushed in. - Thanks Philip!

I must have hit it inadvertently when doing some wiring.

You guys are awesome!
