well, heres the deal, i really want to be in the low 12s, maybe high 11s with my new combo, im driving a 78 trans am, so lets guesstimate the weight at 4000. does anyone have a car that weighs about as much of that and is in 12s? if so lemme know your secrets please

thanks

you need to check out the combo dave vizard built in his book"how to build max performance chevy small-blocks on a budget."he managed to get 575 horsepower and 500lbs.torque out of a 350 bored and stroked to a 383.of course this would be too radical for a daily driver.

My dad's 80 Camaro weighed 3360 with the pass and rear seat removed and no a/c or heat parts. You could be lighter than you think. This car now weighs 3297 with me in it and runs mid 12's with a very streetable 355, street converter and 3.90 gear.

hmm well so far the only things ive decided on doing is driver and pass. race seats, remove fuel tank and run 12 gal fuel cell. 4:10 or 4:11 posi in the back, Air Shocks, Traction bars, SFC's, and DOT Slicks thats gonna be the stuff in the car, im still deciding on front end/suspention, and engine. id like to go with a TH350 from TCI maybe, i need something that can take some power
