Need a new temp guage for my BB and was wondering if I should install sensor in block or in the Intake (Air gap). Sensor is in block now and I remember that you will get different temp reading depending on where the sensor is located.

Either location will work. Unless you have it in the thermostat housing, where it won't read high until the t-stat opens, they read pretty close to the same either way.
