I have benn told to run my 355ci at 34 degrees true timing. For a guy who uses the old conventional timing light like me where should it be ?? Also, I bought a Holley Trick kit and rebuilt my carb (4777 650 CFM). It came with three power valves but the size stamps are unreadable. Anyone know what the three sizes are ?? Also is it odd to have 64 jets in the front and 70s in the back ?
Thanks
Les

I think you mean "total" timing. And that would be at a certain rpm, usually around 2800 or 3000. You will need to mark your balancer or use 'balancer timing tape' and tach to set correctly. Easiest way is to remove the lower pulley, lay the tape around the balancer then notch or file a mark at your desired timing mark. Highlight the mark with white paint. The power valves should have numbers stamped on the inserted metal piece like 45 or 65 etc. I originally had a 65. Jetting doesn't sound odd but they are smaller than "stock" it all depends on compression ratio, cam, ignition, exhaust.... lots of varibles to get the mixture correct.

Without having a advance timing light what would that be on a regular timing light. I do have a timing tape on my balancer but I just don't know where to set it and at what RPM

It would be set at 34 BTDC all in by 3000 rpm. You will need a tach to use a standard timing light. With a 'dial back' you don't need the tape as you set the light and adjust to zero on the timing mark at the balancer while noting the tach reading.
