Hi All-

I'm converting my 66' BB front drum brakes to disc. Two questions for you-

#1. Where can I buy a Wilwood conversion kit? Can't seem to find one in Jeg's or Summit and I need everything in the kit like SSBC offers.

#2. Do you recomend power or non-power disc brakes? I have enough vacuum for power, but I'm just not sure. I had a 65' Vette with four wheel disc and non-power and it was fine. Guy's here at work are recomending power, whats your opinion?

Thanks
Tod

Tod, I got my kit for my 70 at Summit. Is this what you are looking for?? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=WIL%2D140%2D2285%2DB&view=32&N=700+4294922533+4294924702+4294908216

There is a guy on this site, his company I cant remember, that is a dealer for Wilwood. I may have purchased from him but didnt know about him at the time. Do a search on this site for Wilwood brakes and you may find him. Also, Where you at in Michigan?? Wheel to Wheel in Troy is a dealer. I heard from someone that they may have gone out of business. Here is their info anyway: Wheel to Wheel in Troy, MI. 248-588-5588. They are in the 14 and Dequinder area I think.

If you have enough vacuum, go power. If low vacuum, go manual or for the best power brakes , go hydra-boost... if you have power steering.

Found another site called WilwoodOutlet.com (http://www.wilwoodoutlet.com) that looks like they specialize in Wilwood kits. They're running a 10% off deal storewide right now.
