shaggon wagon

Does anyone have any thoughts on h pipes or x pipes? I have a 67 wagon with a 358 making a little over 400 hp and it is time for the ehaust to go on. I have a set of hooker jet coated heaters and am going to use 2 1/2 inch pipes and flowmasters. Just wondering if I should use a h pipe or x pipe or none at all. Thanks very much.

Starting from scratch go X its worth a little over an H pipe...on the cheap do the H at least.

IMHO an x is worth more power but will quiet the car down (in my case- _alot_ quieter than a true dual), but I run mega-mufflers, so. They can get kinda pricey, so yeah on the cheap, do an H, I suppose its better than nothing if all you want is power.
If you want mean, muscle tone.. true duals..
