I have my 1971 chevelle for sale on ebay. I have a potential buyer from Norway. He says he'll paypal the deposit and send a money order for the balance. If it clears the bank any chance it can be reversed? He seemed to know about classic cars and asked intelligent questions. My first impression is that he's real.

Wait till it clears, take it out in cash, then release the car and you can't go wrong.

Do a wire transfer on the money. I would not trust ANY bank paper type transaction in the international realm. Banks are bit lazy IMO when it comes to bank checks/money orders etc. Even though they say it has cleared after about a week or so, it actually takes longer. Wire transfer is pretty much instantaneous and safer IMO.

That's how I did it, funds were clear in the US in under 12 hours, only because of the time zone,
it's sometimes called an EFT (electronic fund transfer)
