: 1955 Buick wagon
Mr Chevelle Sep 29th, 08, 8:31 PM 1955 Buick Century stationwagon....I don't have a lot of information yet but I know it's an automatic and runs. The reason for selling is short of storage. Looks very good from the picture. If it's driveable and complete what do you think she's worth?

dyno jonn Sep 30th, 08, 12:04 PM 322 nailhead?
Four portholes and Century means it's a 322/4 barrel with 236 horsepower. Automatic translates to Dynaflow. My dad had a 55 Buick way back when. Wasn't all that slow either. ;)
1BLACKHARLEY Sep 30th, 08, 12:26 PM if that ride is anywhere near as clean as it looks, your looking at 7.5k to 10k in socal. wagons in the vintage years are really hot right now. i know this is a hard economy, but if that car is rust free, you are looking at a real investment. that's not a lancer or morris wagon, that's a very desirable buick. now your going to have to look for matching luggage and all the little goodies that were available for these rides, picnic baskets, roof racks etc...etc... you'll find that people that have these types of cars, it's not a car, but a life style. by the way, i'm really jealous, i'd love to have that ride....
Mr Chevelle Sep 30th, 08, 12:41 PM I tried to contact the seller this morning but no answer, left a message. Looks like I'll be making a road trip.

Arnold is gone but a railroad siding still exists.....about 5 miles north and a little east of Bismarck. I haven't got the directions yet but I think the Buick is close to Jamestown just off I94.
