AFR offers an intake manifold they refer to as a "Street Pro Flow RPM" for SBC's. They have some fairly big claims about it on their website. I guess this is a direct competitor for Edelbrock's Performer RPM. They're relatively inexpensive at about $165 polished. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with one.

I am curious about this as well. Everyone raves about there heads but AFR intakes are never mentioned by anyone. Always wondered why that is.

*bump*

I sent an email to AFR and they replied that they no longer manufacture their own intakes, but that they now stock Edelbrock if I was interested.

They looked identical to those "Professional Products" import made intakes to me.

Mark, I agree. Plus the low cost kinda indicates that they were of Chinese origin. Makes me wonder a bit about any of AFR's other offerings.

They also handled cast iron ProAction heads for a time but quit because of quality issues.

If you call you will find they recommend EDE, Dart, GM BowTie, even Brodix depending on application.

AFR's "other offerings" speak for themselves,, how many bad things have you heard about them??
How many good??
Enough said
