: Need help finding bonded carrier to ship Chevelle
69396ss Sep 29th, 08, 1:00 PM The Gentleman who purchased my Chevelle had his transportation fall through.
Does anybody know a reputable Bonded transport company who can transport the Chevelle in an enclosed trailer from Kentucky to South Carolina?
Obviously his concerns with the Reputable, and bonded adjectives have more importance than just low price.
Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Scott, Mike is a collector of extremely high end cars and I'd trust it a very good resource.

You'd have to see if they do x-country, but the company that I work for uses them when shipping & receiving multi-million dollar projects that have been subed out to other subcontractors in places as far away as Vietnam (ship by boat in steel crates).
They may do land transport. I would tell you the CEOs' name, but unfortunately, I believe I am not at liberty to say. Good luck with all.

Your a Good man Bill, but I could never impose like that. I think we might have something lined up with Autobond.
I sincerely appreciate the offer to help though.

Not an imposition John...I've loaned the truck/trailer before and would be glad to do it again. A dependable rig...used it to trailer my Chevelles up and down the East coast and around here in the South.
If things don't work out with Autobond...please, drop me a line.
Burnsamatic Sep 30th, 08, 11:24 AM I've used Intercity Lines a couple of times. Awesome customer service!
Brucebodyman Oct 1st, 08, 10:51 AM I second Reliable transport I have shipped a couple cars with them with absolutely no problems and they were at their destination quickly.
69396ss Oct 1st, 08, 12:45 PM The buyer has arranged transport with AutoBond.
They were in Hemmings and a friend has used them.
The key is to ensure they're bonded to cover any issues, so it should be fine.
Rals70SS Oct 4th, 08, 8:38 PM I used Autobahn last year to ship my chevelle from Ill. Fantastic experience! Very resonable cost and very competent drivers. Good luck!
