On an original 66 SS, can the original amp gauge be re-wound?
My friend said it is two gauges in one pod and he can see the ammeter looks burned in back.
Naturally he wants to keep it original with a functioning ammeter.
I'm not familiar with 66 instruments at all.

YR1 has services that repair/restore gauges so chk that out.
