I just rewired my car during an LS1 swap. I used a AAW 18 circuit harness. I finally hooked the battery up last night and as soon as it's connected the turn signal indicators and the one bulb I had in the parking light were on. I talked to a friend and he said if all the bulbs aren't in that this happens. Can anyone confirm this? I thought it was a parking light wiring issue at first and removed the headlight switch, but then after thinking about the turn signal indicators being on it kinda makes sense.

Missing bulbs will not cause ANYTHING to be "on" if that is what you're asking.

The power for the turn signals comes from the ignition switch/turn signal switch.

Hazard lights do get power without the key on but wouldn't have power to the bulbs unless the hazard switch is turned on.
