I got some great advice on my other post and am looking real hard at the Isky cam that was recommended. My last question is would the Thumper from Comp Cams be able to run in a stock 307?

Thanks,

Sure it can be. What the specs on it, I dont have a cam book with the Thumpr cams in it

You have to remember your dealing with a small bore like a 283 and a short stroke like a 327. You basically have a stroked 283 when you have a 307. They can run good if you use the right stuff. What heads do you have? Can you tell us the casting numbers last 3 digits?

What trans, rear and converter if an automatic? Are you wanting 100% street? Do you want it choppy? Will you run a vacuum can if needed to make it choppy if thats what you want?
