Not a bad looking car, probably not worth much more than his opening bid.

The owner states he doesn't want to negotiate the price. Why then doesnt he have a buy it now price? If he has it up for a normal ebay auction then he is negotiating the price, this is a BS game being played by the owner. Vehicle needs to be inspected in person by yourself or someone you can trust. Seems to me for not much more you could get a real SS if that is what you want, especially in the present market.

Where in Canada are you Darryl? Have you researched bringing a U.S. car into Canada? Here is a web site for you to start. http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/importation/impusae.htm

Bringing in am older Chevelle or El Camino is not difficult but you have to pay both GST and provincial tax. I used a broker and for someone doing it for the first time it was well worth the money. If I was to buy another U.S. car, I would probably use a broker again.
The seller has to fax a copy of the title to U.S. customs or your broker at least 72 hours before you arrive at Canada customs with the car. Then the fun begins. The car will have to be inspected before you can license it and everything on the car has to work! And I mean everything! If it came with it, it has to have it, and it has to work! My car did not have a heater and I had to put one in. If you decide to brinkg a U.S. car in, PM me, I can give you the benefit of my experience and it may save you some of grief

Here is a 66 that looks pretty nice in Vancouver. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/cto/834850068.html
I should add that any vehicle you buy out of province will proabably have to go through the same inspection process as an out of country car.

this guy thinks its worth more because he says its a "ss clone." It annoys me when they call something like that a SS clone, because its not. Its just a regular elky but with a hood and stripes. thats it. But hes using that to justify a reason to sell it for 10,000+ instead of the 6000-8000 its really worth

If you want to save money and like that look, you should look into buying an elky that hasn't been "cloned" yet

for it to be a true "clone" worth over 10,000 id want to see a big block, SS interior, 12 bolt rear, etc
