we got my XE268 H-10 in and i posted about it wanting to over heat..... i pulled the fan radiator and shroud off of our 70 chevelle and stuck it on there we set one fan a little ways away from it it ran 195 for the entire 30 mins broke it in at 2400 to 2500 rpms for 30 mins..... let it hardin then drove it and this thing pulls hard :eek: i swung around the bypass barly touched the brakes and stomped it to the floor and she kept spinnin and spinnin and finaly it hooked and hauled A$$ tongue.gif ......i think the other cam was a stock one with 3 lobes ate off of it lol u should see the lifters.... they are horrible im now using them as paper weights :D tongue.gif

Amazing how you don't recognize powerloss until its fixed huh :D

I had some plug wires burn up to the point it was nearly missing on 2 cylinders and when the engine was torquing it was unplugging a different one...

Also the PCV valve was clogged so the engine was having a hard time breathing

I regained some massive torque when I got it lined out

maybe later on a set of vortec heads and shoot for 400 HP :D :eek:
