1. what is this stuff?
2. How is it different from other products?
3. Is it made by different MFG's or only one?

I am starting body work on my 67 and this stuff seems to be popping up everywhere.

This is the first time I have ever done ANY body work so I am trying to absorb all the info I can.

And for the record I am sure there will be ALOT of other stupid questions to follow.

You want to stay far away from from 1k or lacquer based products.
2k products use a hardener to chemically change the paint, making for a long lasting finish.
There are tons of paint companies out there, in today's day and age they sell pretty much nothing but 2k paint.

When shopping for paint get urethane based 2K paint...Eric
