Well I'm putting in the check for AFR 195cc Heads, as well as adding 1.6 Rockers(.505/.515 Net Lift), and boosting compression .2-.3 to 9.8 or so. Going to buy off a member here(WolfPlace I believe is his username)

My combo is 1981 Z-28 Camaro- 355 Home Ported World S/R Heads(1.94/1.5) XS268 solid cam (230/236@.050, .477/.488 Net Lift), 650 DP, Tremec TKO 5-speed, 3.42s, Nitto Drag Radials

Best I've gone is 13.4@103. Seeing as how I have to wait 6-8 weeks I just want to do a little bench-racing- What do you guys think this will be worth in the 1/4 mile? Think I can pull off a 12.7 @107 or so? When I changed from a 203/212@.050 hydro cam to the current cam and .4 more compression I dropped .6 tenths and gained 5MPH. Just want to know where I would stand with this new mod. Thanks for the help!

should be high 12s with no problems if you were running 13.4 before. What rpms do you shift at, and where does your cam peak? If its high enough, i'd opt for a Victor Jr intake port matched to the AFRs, give you alittle more top end. good luck

What gear are you in, and what is you rpm when you cross the line?

I shift into 4th right before the finish line...cross at 4,600 or so(max power I found is shifting at 5,800rpms). I'm gonna put some 3.90s(from 3.42s) in her too this summer, but I'm gonna wait till I get the AFRs first.
