Well, my hopes of using a Beehive spring or now over due to the fact that they only have those for max lift of .600. I have an Ultrdayne solid flat tappet; 288/296 with .612/.630 lift in a BBC. I have AFR springs in it that are;
140 on the seat @ 1.930
365 open @.550 lift
The springs that UD recommened for this cam are;
part# 73121, Installed height 1.940,seat pressure 140, 400 pounds at 1.1250, OD 1.526, Max lift 0.730.
What are some of the best dual valve springs out that will fit these parameters, Techincally AFR says that I should have an installed height of 1.930, if that is true or not i haven't checked. Can anyone help me out with this and make a recommendation? thanks!

I've run Crane's 99893 on that exact same cam. I think I paid $70 for the set from Comp Products.

I just followed Harold's instructions of just using the outer springs during break in, then reinstall the inters after a successful cam break-in.

Hope that helps.
