Nice Monte gathering - at first it looked like you guys were doing that on the sidewalk, then I saw that it was a driveway. Sounds good!

Man, I Dig 1st Gen Montes!!!!!

Beautiful cars! And I know Flowmasters get a bad rap for "drone", but that sound is unmistakeable!
With 4.10 gears my car is never going to be making long highway runs, so I'm thinking more and more that I'll never have to think about the drone. I just need that pulse-quickening noise! :yes:

the blue monte (mine) is a 468, pumping 12:1 and burning E85, piped through a 3 1/2" torque tech exhaust w/ Pypes racepro mufflers

the black one is a 496 through a 3" w/ flowmasters

both have a pretty good sized solid roller cams

Both of those Monte's sounded good!!

sad to say back in about 90 91 my Dad had 2 of those montes setting behind the house,, and couldnt get any body to even come look at em,,,,, guess they wernt azz poopular back then .............. well i drove my chevelle home then too for 400 bucks( 14 years old)>>>>>>>>>>
