the reason i ask is because i found a 69 elky for $700 mising front clip and i know where a 70 front clip is just thought i would ask

'68-'72 front clips will interchange from Elky to Elky, and '68-'69 Chevelle clips will work as well. '70-'70 Chevelle clips will not, the fender contour is different.

69 and 70 have different headlights and trim, etc. They won't work as a replacement.

True on the trim, you'd have to swap the entire clip, including wiring.
