Hi,
My brother got a Borg Warner T10 from a guy and needs it decoded. He didn't find too many numbers on it. Here are the numbers he told me:
8-14-61
72461
T10-7B
T10-1B
H161
WGIV
When I see it, I can look for more numbers.
Thanks,
Ethan

8-14-61 date (Kind of odd.... as normally they use a letter/number code to date the part) like:
H161 would be August 16th first shift....... and would be the "pad" stamp.
T10-7B Tail housing casting # (Aluminum)
T10-1B Main case casting # (Cast Iron)
WG DIV Warner Gear Division (he left off the "D")
In November 61 GM changed to an Aluminum main case so this is an early model as shown by the date stamp.
Could be either a 60 or early 61 Vette or Chevrolet. Worth around $1500 if FULLY rebuilt.

The 8-14-61 is probably the tailshaft date, that is how they are dated.

Side covers are dated like that also. 72461 is also one of these date codes but should have some spaces; more like 7 24 61. July 24, 1961
