I have a leak in a Price-Pfister bathroom sink faucet. It is a 1/4 turn ceramic valve model. I removed the handle, bell shroud & exposed the top of the cartridge. I have a replacement cartridge in hand. I can't get the old cartridge out.
It looks as if I only need to grab it with channel locks & pull it out. Does not seem to be any lock ring or jam nut holding it down. I tried screwing it out but it will only go 1/4 turn before entire valve starts spinning. And I don't want to break it, so whats next? BTW- Price-Pfister web site was about useless - the appropriate links were dead. Thanx.
