im trying to get sum info on why everytime i put my th350 in gears that has a 5-5400 stall thats behind my sbc 434 in gear it drops 500 rpms and then shuts myt motor off. car runs perfect,idle perfect until i put it in gear

Sounds like your timing and idle were set with the vacuum advance hooked up. This can be cured by setting timing with vacuum advance disconnected, line plugged. Set timing, then idle speed and then using "ported" vacuum instead.

I dnt have an vacuum advance dist so no vacuum and what is ported vacuum

Ported vacuum appears 'above' the throttle plates. Manifold vacuum is 'below'.

oh ok thanks i have an 1050 so no vacuum on the carb. so u think is a timming issue do those springs that be in the dist play a part.

Yup,timing vs vac adv issues .
With a perf cam try for a good starting place 18 base timing set with vac adv unhooked 7 pluged along with idle low like 600-650 rpm to ekpp mech adv from partially activating when setting base timing messing it up.
Then shoot for 18 deg mech in dist in by 2800 rpms,then 18 base + 18 deg mech in dt all in by 2800 rpms = 36total by 2800 rpms.
Then hook the vac adv to full vacum all the time .
Use 93 fuel with this curve and listen for ping to be safe and back off the timing a smidge to hopefully stop ping if you hear any.

Since you dont have any vacuum advance please give some more info.
What is the idle speed in neutral? What is the timing set at at idle speed? If you slowly back the idle speed down does the timing retard?
How much total timing and at what RPM is it all in.

One thing I noticed with my auto (just switched from manual) is that in park the A/F is about 12.7 and in gear the RPMs drop about 150-200 and the A/F gets a bit leaner to 13.5 Maybe your idle A/F is too lean .. Just a thought.

My GS used to stall as soon as you put it into gear...it would idle in park at 1100-1200..soon as it would go into gear,it would die.
Turned out to be a bad coil....
