I have a SFI flexplate shield that is from 98. How long are they approved for? 5 years? This thing has never been used and I forgot about the whole date thing until I tried to sell it recently. Do I have to pay to have it re approved? who can do that? how much is it?

They dont require recertifaction ..... yet ... that I know of
