We are installing a 355 Small block with a Performer RPM intake. This engine has a 650 Double Pumper Holley. It will be using an automatic transmission, vacuum advance, PCV valve and power brakes.

Where and what would be the best places for all these vacuum lines to hook up?

The back float bowl covers the port in the back of the intake pretty well.

Everybody has that problem with a small block and Performer RPM. I run a 1" carb spacer so I can use that port for the power brakes. I run the PCV from the fitting in the rear of the carb baseplate. There are no hood clearance issues with the 1" spacer, Holley, and a 14" X 3" drop base air cleaner. Just make sure there is no extra length on the air cleaner stud.

The vacuum advance connects to a carb fitting. For the transmission modulator, a GM manifold fitting will have one large port for power brakes and one small one for the transmission modulator.
