I'm looking into doing a restoration on a 1977 Ford F-350. It's a dually with a regular cab. It's an ex U-Haul truck. I'm a huge fan of that generation. I'm looking into doing a frame off restoration. It has the 330 industial V8 and a four speed. I'll be ditching the box. The cab and floors are in super shape, the interior is like new, the suspension is a little tired from all the sitting over the years, and the motor is a tired. It has 54,000 miles. I'll either rebuild that 330 motor depending if I can find parts for it, or I'll throw a triton V-10 in it. I'm going to graft on a '92-'97 Ford bed. The guy is looking for $600. What do you think? The parts are really dirt cheap for them.
