I have one behind my TH400. I know they make an adapter for a manual, just haven't heard of anyone using it with a manual.

Personally, I love it - it's bulletproof, a lot of fun, and cut's the rpm's 20-some% in any gear I choose.

Con: it will eat some of your HP over running just a straight 5-spd.

Any idea where to get a deal on one? at $2800 that's a steep overdrive solution, more of a performance goodie at that price point.

Ebay, and probably craigslist, has them all the time. They last forever and get resold frequently.

Thanks for all the help.Yes they are priced high, but the TKO 600 cost more. Plus i will have to cut the floor pan out. Just looking at other opt.Allready have several 4 speed trans.Would cut a little off cost, building another 69 can go either way at this point I have installed 2 TKO 600 one in 69 camaro one 69 chevelle. One more wont kill me plus the 64 overdrive is better.Guess just looking for something different,i could go automatic, that is what wife wants . Nahhh!!!! Again thanks for Help
