Some times when I´m out driving I hear this sound in the sweap dash board. It almost sounds like baby birds. Often you dont hear it when I´m accelerating and I often hear it when the needle is jumping. What the sound? Is it something to be worrying about?

speedo cable needs lube, or if your going to pull it to lube it, might be more cost effective to just buy a new one. jim

I´m really novice with cars, changing speedo cable is that something I could do myself or should I have a pro to do it?

easy, but a pain in the butt. Hardest part is unclipping the cable at the speedo head. Jim
