I have an opportunity to buy an original 1968 Chevelle SS hood that is in excellent shape for only $150.00, I'am planning on putting it on my 1969 Chevelle and I know there is something different about the hood hinges, can someone refresh my memory on what it is. Thanx Jerry:)

I think you have to get a set of 68 hinges, the bolt holes are different on the two hoods.
Maybe someone can verify that.

Ricky hit it on the head. The bolt holes are closer together on the 68"s. 68 hinges will bolt to 69 fenders fine. The only difference is the hood holes.
