mind you this is just on the street with et streets. first gear the tires break loose almost instanly but after the 1/2 shift things seem to hook up pretty good untill the rpms build back up to around 5000 (this is my peak tq rpm) at which time the tires break loss again. this is about 45mph. i now have a S/victor installed. "IF" i go to a airgap intake i believe this should lower my peak tq to maybe 4500 and roast the tires through first and second. Right? is this sound thinking? im trying to stay in my power band but it appears its not right with the currant parts. thanks Dave
