I just opened the box to my new set of Hedman Elite headers and it looks like a part of the plastic bag melted (...I know???:sad:) to the front of the #1 cylinder exhaust and there is a little black residue that is on the header now. Before I go and void the warrenty or ruin the coating by using a too aggressive cleaner, I figured I would see what others have used to clean up their ceramic headers. Any suggestions?

I know I can return them, but I'm just about to put the engine back in the car and would like to lay it in the engine bay before I put the engine back in. I'm getting anxious...:yes:

Ha! I'll answer my own question....fine steel wool took it right off without scratching the ceramic.
