Will a 69 chevelle and a 70 chevelle core support interchange? thanks in advance.

Nope.Chevy was funny about their core supports. Did you know there were 6 different cores supports for 70-72 Monte Carlos? One for each year, with and without a/c. I know, who cares! Find someone to trade you if you can.

I believe 68, 69 & 70 would be the same but I also think that each year had different ones for different applications

I had to replace my core support on my 69 El Camino after someone pranged the front.

I had catalogs that advertised the 69 core support but they were not in production.

This week I got a new catalog from Original Parts Group and they show a "new" item - 1969 core support.

It seems strange that things like hood hinges and core supports are unique to 69.

I finally found one by posting a want add on this site, but now it looks like you have the option of purchasing a new one.

But 68-69 were the same depending on weather or not the 68 had factory air or not
GM part # was
3956068- all 68 with factory intsalled airconditioning. and all 69 models.
