This car has been in the family for a while. it is baby's mamma 'mammas' car that once was 'her' brothers. If all that makes any since ahahah. The car started out as a chevelle malibu and he restored it with original parts to an ss. He passed away sometime and the car was kept. This car once was offered 20,000$ on the spot, here in Houston. But it has sentimental value. I hear that he took the car to the track and it whooped up on people. I am new to chevy, I recently sold my 86 5.0 mustang to my 17yr old brother, lol be nice to me :D.

Now here is the list of mods that i am told:
It has a 350 4-barrel, 460+ horses, see thru valve covers, hydraulic lifters, MSD ignition system, posi-traction, and dual exhausts.

Now I do not know how much HP the motor has stock, but if its around 200hp, then there has to be alot done to it than that lol. No power adder as you can see, so what do you think is done? the motor was rebuilt, and my friend says nothing in the engine should be stock for this power. Ofcourse me getting it on the dyno will be in need to see how she is doing. But is it possible to make that power with no power adder on this engine?

I am thinking the engine is bored, good pistons, cam ??

Oh I am buying this car for 10k is this a good price? I can't wait to get this bad boy :D

here is pictures of the car

Welcome to Team Chevelle Royce. 460hp out of a SB without a power adder is possible. Sounds like a fun car. Your link does not work. It shows that folks need a login to view the pics. It might be something like the pics or album needs to be made viewable by the public. If they don't have that option, you might try using www.photobucket.com. Welcome to TC and enjoy the new ride :)

um you say 350 with a 4 barrel carb, but the picture sure looks like it has dual quads on there.
Dual 4 barrels with a/c, now what was it they were trying to achieve? Lowest gas mileage possible?

Looks nice, although weird question... Where is the gas pedal? Under the carpet?

HAHAHAHAH that's so funny, yeah I never caught that. It does have a gas pedal, now where it is in the pics is beyond me ahahahaha. the car drives itself! Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I am sure I found the right chevelle site around ;-)

depley I just did some research and yes it is a dual quad setup, I know nothing about carbs so I do not know the benefit lol but I know the current owner did 'something' to make it save on gas and I thought it was to make it run on 2 barrels instead of 4, but there is 8 barrels lol so i don't know. thanks for picking up on that

its the Edelbrock Dual-Quad Manifold

a friend of mine made a set back in the mid 90's, he just cut the top of a stock valve cover out and used a piece of plexiglass, sealed it with silicone
