good looking boxer. I'd let mine in, but they scatter when I fire it up, so I don't think they'd like the noise.

I don't have a dog at the present time, nor do I have my own Chevelle. But I wouldn't see any problem with having a dog ride in the car. I would just lay a blanket down in the back seat.

My dog isnt allowed in the car only because he drools enough to submerge your shoes in both the front and back seat.

The Velle is probably the only place my Lab is not allowed

My dog thought the bed of the El Camino was his dog house, he would sit and lay on the tailgate for hours. No one could get near it, it was his home.

I've never had my dog in either of my Chevelles, but I probably would

I have two boxers also, but their white and my interior is black so no ride for them. They spend a lot of time in my truck though.

No, but he rides in my truck. In fact, I'm at work right now and he is out there waiting for me.

Had my for a ride one time (black lab)...seats got all muddy and I was worried about a claw going thru. He dosen't like to just sit down. No more...but a small dog I wouldnt mind

Went to a car show one time and a younger kid had a beautiful '69 Charger...nice red paint...had a big lassie-type fog hanging out the back window with his feet on the "ledge" and his claws had left quite a few scratches. Someone pointed it out to him & he just shrugged it off and said oh well.

I guess some people love their dogs more than others

You bet ....... they love to ride in the back !!

people are always taking their pictures .... I guess that dogs wearing Gogle's harnessed into the center of the bed are a rare sight l:)

biggest problem is they always think they're going when ever the Kmeno starts ..... kind of breaks my heart to leave em home :(

If I didn't already have a fantastic girlfriend....I'm quite sure that my 90+ lb great dane/dalmation cross Ivy would get me one rather quickly! Lady folk seem to be pretty aware of my cars presence already when I drive by, and when they see a dog in the back, it's a done deal!

I have a 4-door '67 wagon and two beagles. With the rear seat down and some blankets spread out, they're in heaven back there.

I have cloth seats and the hair sticks and is very hard to get out. He goes every where in the truck though.

NO DOGS ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!! Besides it's cruelty to animals to toss them among the car like that :D And that pic of Seattle makes me wish I still lived there...Nice Elky Elcamino Dan. I had a white one when I lived in Port Orchard..

I just finished putting new pearl white seat-covers in so I had to find a solution so that Preston could still ride along. I went to a bath decor store and got a couple of rubber backed rugs. There about 24" x 72" or so and fit perfectly over the seats and the backing holds them firmly in place. No more worries. worst problem now is the nose prints on the windows!

CessnaRob, here's another one for ya.

My dog is too afraid of the loud pipes to ask to go along.

My dog had to be put down 3 days before i got the chevelle, i keep his old tags on my chevelle keys though, if he was still around he would be allowed of course.
When we were dogsitting my dads friends yellow lab we took him out in my dads 68 camaro and he knew the drill and hopped right in the back, we rolled down his 1/4 window and he had the perfect spot, i could only imagine what same people would think when they saw a yellow lab go by in a first generation camaro:beers:

my dog starts barking to tell me to floor it. At first it was cool, but if I listened to him all the time I wouldn't have a license to go along with bald tires.
