I am having a problem with a Dynacorn after market SS dash. After installing all the gauges, the new A/C control does not bolt up. On one side there are screw posts and on the other side there is vertical tabs. The tabs are under cut and to accept a speed nut and a horizontal fastener. And this does not line up with the tabs on the A/C control. Has anyone run into this problem before?

Yes I am finding that out. But there has to be a solution to this problem.

When you shell out the money for a SS dash, you would think all the parts fit.

I got a dynacorn carrier, and it is not cheap chinese junk. Are you doing this in the car or putting the stuff back onto it on a bench? If it is in the car, there might be a little extra stress on it making the pieces not line up quite right. Mine mounted fine on the bench, but when I had to remove the control head after mounting the dash in the car, I found it was a little off. By loosening the carrier mounting bolts in the center-but not on the ends or over the column, I got it to line up fine again. The new silver metal brace near the glove box seemed to be holding it all just a little off. Try that. A little patience and it will all work out.

Thank you I will try that tomorrow. How did you attach the right side of the AC control, just to the carrier bracket?
