I am planning to purchase a set of Isky soild roller lifters through Wolfplace soon. My current setup is a zz4 shortblock with OEM hydraulic rollers. I would like to get a set of solid rollers that are the same height as my current lifters if possible. Then I dont have to buy new pushrods. How tall is the OEM SBC roller lifter? Any info would be great. Thanks,

Doc,
The oem hydraulic rollers are a lot taller (at least .700" ) than any of the mechanical roller lifters. You are going to have to replace pushrods. Sorry :(
Are you going to put the solid rollers on the hydraulic cam ??? I guess it would work, but just curious what the reason is if that is what you are doing.

Thanks Bill,
No, I am going with a full solid roller setup on my new motor. Just trying to recycle some parts if I can.

You will need new pushrods ;)
Isky has a Red Zone that is taller than the stock hyd & uses a very short pushrod (about 6.5"'s ) but it still isn't the same length.
I use these a lot in circle track stuff as the rev kit is simpler & the push rod is stiffer.
