When you read his combo, where it says "just suspension" is that a company or something I am not understanding right? Neat car-- sleeper look to it.
I wonder what size cam he is running with those heads.

What engine combo equals a 548" motor? Aftermarket block? If I ever modify my 70, I would pull the original motor and build one like that! Awesome!

I almost didn't click on the link - with that addy I thought it was just a model car. Then I noticed the replies to this post and clicked through.

That is a neat setup, and if he could set it up to use the N2O off the line it would really dive down into the nines.

"saturday night cruiser" is right, becuase with a 5500RPM stall, he'd burn up that tranny cruising during the day. :D

Looks quick though.

Looks to be full weight plus a roll cage.

Driveshaft- Stock....I don't think so. It would easily become a pretzel at those power levels...

More to it than the owner may have disclosed..? :D
I was kinda thinking that too. But you never know.

Nah, he wouldn't really want to leave you guessing about what was really in there, would he :D

I mean like what kind of guy would make the car as stock looking as possible and then not lay out a detailed set of instructions on how anybody else could make the same achievement.

I too noticed that he listed the driveshaft as stock...he probably means "stock length". There is obviously more to the story, but I'm guessing that he won't be telling. The power level he lists is entirely feasable - but on scale think of the following: how many 350 cube street pump gas engines have you seen that made ~ 530 hp. Of course with the right cam....and that converter, it could all work. With 5,500 stall and those 345 heads, he is telling you that his camshaft selection is not making great power below 5,000 rpm - there is no other good reason to select a stall like that.

Interesting still.
