Ok, it's time to start putting the convertible back together & I have a question about interior colors. The seats, door panels, carpet, sunvisors, etc. are all going to be Sandalwood. My question is, What color should the dash, dash pad, steering column & console be ? I have seen numerous cars where all the interior was the same color & numerous cars where the interior was a mixture.

Dash should be Sandlewood (although the correct appearance is slightly darker than the upholstery), door panels and console should also be sandlewood, kick panels should be sandlewood (but the same hue as the dash pad). The steering column and wheel should be sandlewood except if it's an SS. The column and wheel should be Black if SS equipped.

Thanks a bunch guys. What paints did you use on the console, dash carrier, dash pad & kick panels ?

It was vinyl dye that I got mixed at the paint store. I took an unfaded lap cooler from under the dash and had them match it.

That's the most accurate way to do it because I also used vinyl dye but simply gave them the 714 code and everything matches color instead of the "correct" variance of shades that Dave's interior has (dash and kick panels slightly darker hue).

Thanks, that helps a lot. Great looking cars too.
How about the console ? Should it be Sandalwood or Black ?
