I have a hardtop 4 door - no frames around the door glass.
I would like to install power windows using normal chevelle regulators
will the 2 door versions work for my front doors or is there a part number of what I need and then again, any idea where I can get them???
tried aftermarket and they are junk
any ideas???

Not sure about coupe regulators but any GM a body hardtop should interchange.
Try chevelle, LeMans, skylark, cutlass etc.
See John http://www.johnsclassiccars.com/ eBay, craigslist, racing junk etc.
Good luck

They make regulators like originals, and use original type motors, and switches that are correct. I agree, most aftermarket ones that use the small newer design motors are junk.

I bought the regulators for my 1964 Wagon from them. I have not installed them, but they look very well made. They said they have regulators for most 2 and 4 door cars. Good Luck. Erik
