The only thing that I know of that might work would be airshocks, but I don't think they would even raise it six inches. Why 6 inches?

6 inches ?!?!?! ......going for the infamous stinkbug stance of the '70s?

well i guess its more like 4 inches. its because currently the fender covers the top part of the rear tire ( from the top of the rim to the top of the tire) so i want to raise it up to give it a sloped stance.

The tire on my 68 is also partly covered at the top by the fender lip. This is normal. However if you don't like it that way, and want to jack it up, shocks won't help. Unless you use air shocks, and there are bad points to using those. Harsh ride, extra stress on shock mounts, and the possibility of more wheel hop. The best way to raise the rear is with taller and/or stiffer springs. (which might cause you to need longer shocks)
