I'm rebuilding my 414. I never realy thought about it but, what is the differance in running the intake gasket with the center hole plugged with the block off plate and without it, or the plate with the small hole in it?

Its for those cold start mornings,helps heat up the intake manifold quicker. For performance use,you want to keep it blocked off,keeps the intake charge cooler.
