No answer from heating and cooling so I thought I'd try again. It's been so long since I removed it I can't remember if the heating/cooling dash unit should be installed before or after I mount the dash back in the car? 70 Chevelle. thanks in advance for any help.:confused:

It would be easier out of the car, but can be done in the car if need be.
