Can anyone tell me where the the tailpipes are supposed to end, i.e. behind the rear tires, or at the bumper? It is a stock 350/300. What size pipes do you recommend?

Tom Lasater Oct 5th, 99, 7:28 PM The pipes on my 72 exited behind the wheel on each side, and the pipes were 2 1/4 if my memory stills works. The car has been off the road since 1990..The painter has had it since March 21 of this year.
